Kaj “the Man” Lehmann (Not his actual nickname) answered some questions I had for him. Kaj is a Swiss photographer that captures not just wonderful and inspiring moments, but also timeless landscapes and photos that play with the use of transparencies.
Are the two nude figures (Above) products of a concept, or a naked run after some rain?
Second. We go every year once to this hidden abandoned factory, it’s actually more a ruin. Kind of an inspiration-magic place. There we make music with instruments, we create with material we find, or paint things, or do photographs.

King of the oxymoron Jim Pluk answered some questions for me and even sent me a .gif of his sketches. His awesome work is colourful, cute and edging on creepy.
Your work kind of shifts from child-like imagery to gruesome concepts, do you seek out this contrast?

Belgium native Charlotte Boeyden answered a few questions for me, and her awesome work is simply that, awesome.
So being born in Belgium, do you think your birthplace has influenced your style or dreams at all?

The inspiring Portland illustrator Angie Wang (who I posted here), let me in her mind a little bit with a few questions.
Your fashion illustrations are colourful and inventive, sometimes edging on wacky. Does that same energy come through in what you wear everyday?
Only a little bit. One of the reasons I created Wangie was that I was a broke artist who could only afford to dream of the (expensive) wild and colorful clothes I wanted from various runway shows, so I drew them to “own” them in a way. Still, I try to get as many bizarre and interesting items into my wardrobe as I can, and wear them as often as possible.
What would be your dream job? (Even if it has nothing to do with art)
I’d love to be a linguist, actually. If I didn’t have a budding career in illustration, I would probably go to grad school for linguistics, which was my undergrad degree. My first love is art, but my dream job is probably to study linguistics all day.
Thanks, Angie!
I couldn’t find any information saying if she has any shows coming up or releases to check out, but either way head over to Wangie or OkChickadee and revel in some sensory delight.
